Having baby is most joyous journey to me. But this journey is not make me happiness physically. I am going to share my feelings that I feel in my first trimester of pregnancy. May this journey is vary women to women but I believe no one say that they do not feel any sickness in this period. By the way some of the changes that I experience. But one things I want to say that I was very positive of all problems that go through in the first trimester. I mentally setup that symptom would be natural. I do not anxious or excited any of symptoms that I endure.
Morning sickness or nausea/vomiting is a common problem. I go through this problem in first trimester of pregnancy. But I have a feeling of sickness (nausea) without being sick. It happens in every evening. I feel very tired at the end of the day. I cannot take any foods or drink at that time. When I discuss about it with the experiences one they said to me it is a natural and normal part of pregnancy. It is really difficult to prevent morning sickness completely.
Tiredness is another problem that I go through in the first trimester of pregnancy. I feel very tired in the whole day but its make me exhausted in the evening. In the first trimester, elevating hormones and metabolism rate, combined with low blood sugar contribute to the fatigue. Also, the body is developing the placenta to support the baby.
I feel hungry frequently but could not eat every couple of hours during pregnancy. Because I feel morning sickness. I know very well it is not the time for diet. I have to eat properly but I couldn’t do it because of my sickness. I consult the doctor she said that it is normal no need to get tension. But in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, you do need 200 to 300 calories above and beyond your body’s requirements to help sustain and support your growing baby. In fact, in the 1st trimester, you don’t need extra calories at all.
